CLOTH project organised its latest ClusterXchange in Rimini, Italy
Between 8th and 11th November, CLOTH project organised its latest ClusterXchange in Rimini, Italy.
With a programme organised around ECOMONDO fair, the clusterxchange focussed on two main axes: learning on circular economy in Italy and in the Mediterranean region; meeting companies from around Europe.
ECOMONDO is a fair organised each year, recorded +41% in total attendance compared to 2021, attendance from 90 countries and more than 1,400 exhibitor brands over 130,000 square meters. With 25 editions, this international exhibition brings together Euro-Mediterranean companies in the green and circular economy industry.
With more than 160 institutional events organised by the fair, CLOTH project decided to focus its ClusterXchange programme around circular economy challenges in the textile industry. Visiting organisations sectors being Water, a specific focus on water problematics was included in the programme.
The ClusterXchange programme included a networking event organised by Cluster Axelera, Club Ademe International and Éa éco-entreprises gathering more than 30 B2Bs for clusters and SMEs. Another event gathering companies was organised at the Netherlands Lounge booth with the topic of “Circularity of water | Challenges, solutions and technologies for a new international geography: partnerships between Italy and the Netherlands”. Tailor made B2Bs were organised throughout the exchange to dynamize the emergence of partnerships between international and Italian companies.
The partnership would like to thank Lombardy Energy Cleantech Cluster (LE2C) for hosting Water Alliance and CirTec B.V as visiting organisations.
