Call for Participants: International Study Visit in Spain

Fashion Earth Alliance – Vocational Excellence and Enterprise united for training, policy reform, and sustainability in the fashion, textiles, and apparel industries (FEA-VEE) is pleased to announce an open call for fashion and textile students, recent graduates, as well as emerging professionals, to take part in international Study Visits.

The first Study Visit will be held in Terrassa, Barcelona, Spain, by University Polytechnic Catalunya (UPC), from July 13 to July 18, 2025. Participants will engage in an enriching program including:

  • Expert-led training modules
  • Company visits
  • UPC Textile Campus tour
  • A collaborative hackathon
  • Workshop for exchanging good practices

A detailed Agenda will be provided for applicants.

Travel, accommodation, and Study Visit expenses will be covered by the FEA-VEE project.

Application guidelines

All applications will undergo an administrative review to verify eligibility based on the following criteria:

  • Curriculum Vitae: Candidates must have academic backgrounds in textile or fashion industries, including design.
  • Academic Status: Current students, recent graduates, or emerging professionals.
  • English Proficiency: A minimum B2 level, demonstrated in their cover letter and verified during a call if preselected.
  • Travel Availability: Candidates must confirm their ability to travel abroad and their availability on the study visit dates.
  • Registration on the FEA-VEE Platform: All applicants must be registered on the transnational cooperation platform: https://fea-vee.eu/cooperation/. Failure to complete this registration will result in disqualification.

In case the eligible candidates who apply are more than the approved number per country (10), then they will be assessed using the following criteria:

  1. Cover Letter: Content will be evaluated based on motivation, enthusiasm, clarity, and alignment with the program’s activities and objectives. Maximum length: 2.000 characters.
  2. Previous Participation in FEA-VEE Internships: Priority will be given to candidates who have participated in FEA-VEE Internships that were nationally organized by the project’s partners.
