Verde Academy Brought Together Experts on Circular Economy in the Textile Sector

On March 25, the Verde Academy event took place, organized by the Bulgarian Fashion Association (BFA), a partner in the VERDEinMED project. The event was held in a hybrid format – both online and on-site at the Ruse Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The main goal was to bring together representatives from business, academia, and the public sector to discuss key aspects of the Strategy for Transition to a Circular Economy in the textile sector in Bulgaria, developed by BFA within the project. The document is based on the European strategy for sustainable and circular textiles, while also taking into account the specifics of the Bulgarian economy.
